5 & 1/2″ to 7 & 1/2″ with the tail being half as long as the body. Can carry diseases and bugs. Can have 13 litters a year.
Similar in size to the house mouse with the tail being as long as the body.
Sleek body slightly smaller than the Norway rat. Tail is the same length as the body. More common in warmer climates.
7″ to 10″ in length with a tail 6″ to 8″. slightly larger and fatter than a roof rat. Poor climber. Most common.
